Episode 10 – Amanda Udis-Kessler

Amanda Udis-Kessler [pronounced yoo-diss-kess-ler] is a Colorado Springs-based musician, sociologist, writer, and progressive religious lay leader, currently focusing her creativity on hymn-writing and songwriting as well as on a handful of book projects.
Amanda has almost fifty years of creative projects under her belt. These include dozens of hymns, three albums of original songs, other choral and instrumental music, a sociological study published by an academic press, political and academic essays, worship materials, adult religious education curricula, and about 150 liberal religious sermons. Amanda is currently working on book projects involving ethics, feminism and social inequality while continuing to write music. Amanda lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she directs an academic support office at Colorado College.
I will be thrilled to listen in when I can. I know you have lots of good friends who are great performers but maybe there are some from Ohio we’d like to hear also.
