Episode 6 – Patti Broussard

Patti Broussard has always had my hands on some type of instrument. Flute, piccolo, piano, lap harps, ceramic flutes, kalimbas. The weirder the instrument the better. Then in 2007, she went searching online for something bigger than her small Kalimba. She stumbled across the magnificent Array Mbira! It was love at first listen! Ever since finding the Array, it’s been her soul mate instrument. I has since purchased 3 more. An Acoustic 2 octave, a mini, and a 5 octave solid body.
Today, she is still very passionate about the Array Mbira, arranging originals and covers. She share her music on YouTube, TikTok, ITunes, Spotify and all the normal music streaming platforms. She has over 150k followers on TikTok. Someday, she’d love to have an orchestra back her up as she plays the Array. Dream dream dream…
